Celebrate fall with the Cedar Valley Plant-Based Community at our first Pumpkins & Paint Class at Heartland Farms (5111 Osage Rd) in Waterloo, Iowa!

Time: 1:30-3:30pm class & 3:30-5:00pm optional hangout
Place: Heartland Farms (5111 Osage Rd, Waterloo, IA 50703)
Cost: $30 per person for the class and admission to the pumpkin patch (Purchase a mini pumpkin or small gourd separately.)
Spend a cozy fall afternoon getting creative, enjoying a scrumptious treat from Moo's Bakery, and meeting new people. You'll choose your own mini pumpkin or small gourd at Heartland Farms and transform it into a one-of-a-kind fall creation using the painting supplies we provide.
No painting experience is needed. Come with an idea or simply see where your creativity takes you!
Event Schedule
1:00-1:30pm: Pumpkin Picking & Arrival
Arrive early to purchase the mini pumpkin or gourd you'd like to paint and enjoy some time at Heartland Farms before class.
1:30-3:30pm: Pumpkins & Paint Class
We'll gather to paint our pumpkins while enjoying a plant-based dessert and beverage. Take your time, get creative, and mingle with the group while you work.
3:30-5:00pm: Optional Heartland Farms Hangout
The class officially ends at 3:30pm, but the fun doesn't have to! You're welcome to stick around afterward to explore Heartland Farms and hang out with the group.

What You'll Need to Pick Yourself
Your pumpkin or gourd is not included in the $30 registration fee. Participants will purchase their own mini pumpkin or small gourd directly from Heartland Farms, allowing everyone to choose the one they want to paint.
Painting Together?
Sharing a pumpkin or gourd with a partner, family, or group is absolutely welcome! Your $30 registration covers one class participant and one admission to Heartland Farms.
Any additional guests joining you will need to purchase their own admission directly from Heartland Farms, since CVPBC only covers admission for registered class participants.

Come pick a pumpkin, grab a paintbrush, and spend a colorful fall afternoon with the Cedar Valley Plant-Based Community.
