Join us for a fun and relaxing Saturday morning in Downtown Cedar Falls as we enjoy tasty food, connect with friends, and watch the University of Northern Iowa Homecoming Parade!
Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, plant-curious, or simply looking to meet new people, everyone is welcome!
☕ Event Schedule
9:00am: Vegan Brunch at Cup of Joe
We'll kick off the morning at Cup of Joe (102 Main Street, Cedar Falls).
Grab your favorite coffee, tea, or other beverage, enjoy a vegan pastry or dessert, and meet fellow community members! Cup of Joe offers vegan-friendly options, making it a great place to start our morning.
Food and beverages are available for individual purchase.
10:30am: Head to River Place Plaza
We'll head to River Place Plaza in Downtown Cedar Falls to find a spot and get ready for the parade.
11:00am: UNI Homecoming Parade
Enjoy the sights, sounds, and excitement of UNI Homecoming as we celebrate with the Cedar Valley community!
The parade features student organizations, university departments, local groups, and more.
🍂 Optional Activities
Want to keep the fun going? Plenty of other activities are happening in Cedar Falls throughout the day!
Cedar Falls Farmers Market: Browse fresh produce, plants, and locally made goods. Open 8:30am-12:00pm.
Downtown Shopping: Explore the unique shops and small businesses along Main Street.
Puffs: The Musical: Catch the 2:00pm performance of Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. Tickets purchased separately.
Explore Downtown: Enjoy the fall atmosphere, grab lunch, or continue spending time with new friends!
UNI Homecoming Football Game: You can still buy tickets for the UNI Homecoming Football Game against North Dakota.
These activities are completely optional and are not part of our organized gathering.
